Razor Ridge is located in the north of the Appalachians and started out as a small mining town in the early 1800. The city itself is in a valley between two mountain ranges and the area is densely forested. Further north, the valley opens up into a large forest plain, which continue all the way up into Canada. There is a river flowing through the valley and through the city, carrying water from the northern forests southwards.
