Up north, there are many small cabins used for tourists going hunting or fishing. There are many small lakes with excellent fishing opportunities. These cabins are usually located near one of these small lakes and the tourists are flown there in small amphibian planes and then picked up a week or two later.

There are also several small villages, remnants of the camps of lumberjacks. These are also only accessible by aircraft, on foot or on snowmobile.

A couple of villages also houses native Indians, one of these is in the traditional style and caters to tourists.
