Year 1
Even though some of the planets colonised is quite harsh and all require some special considerations, the first years go by fairly easy since the colonisers brought equipment and supplies with them. Also, people got to choose which planet to go to, although, for some popular choices there were lotteries to decide who got to go there. This meant that most people tried to go to something as similar to home as possible and thus were well suited for the environments and used to the conditions.

Year 5
With the help of each other and the Wanderers, most colonies are up and running. They have some kind of production, housing and so on, but it is still a frontier life and few are able to produce everything they need, relying on trade with other planets. The industry is still very crude and the society relies on resources brought with them from Terra Prime for more advanced technology.

Year 10
The planets are starting to get to a point where they are able to produce advanced technology. No planet can produce every aspect of technology, and with transport between planets being somewhat limited, each planet soon develops their own technologies according to the limitations of their resources. Still, even though the conditions are harsh, the future looks bright.
